My stay at Omodaka was quite enjoyable. The location was stunning, with beautiful views of the mountains and a serene waterfall outside the room. The onsen experience was exceptional, providing a perfect way to wind down after a day at the snow monkey park. The staff deserve special mention. they were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist with transport to the park and the train station. The dinner was an absolute highlight—so many courses and beautifully presented dishes. I particularly appreciated the breakfast buffet, which had plenty of options. However, the pillows were quite firm and not very comfortable for my taste. Additionally, some of the room amenities felt a bit dated, which could use attention. Overall, the charm and hospitality made up for the minor inconveniences.

Right after dinner, we strolled under the stars in our kimonos, feeling the warmth of the onsen and the hospitality of the staff. Truly memorable!
The walk from the station was a bit icy, and I recommend expecting some slippage if you're not careful.
